Speed & Agility Training

Speed & Agility - The difference between winning and losing.
As with all sports, speed and agility is most often the difference maker. Some believe you can’t teach speed but, at F5 we know you CAN teach speed!
Just like technology, athlete training is always evolving. Our speed and agility program is centered around the philosophy of proper fundamentals and technique. Our program will teach you how to get your body in the proper position and how to get it to react adequately. This alone makes an athlete faster, or as we say, more efficient.
The components of our program are: foot quickness, lateral movements (agility), power, balance, reaction, and of course speed. Indirectly, these training components make the athletes faster, quicker, and more ex-plosive.
FOOTBALL, BASEBALL, SOCCER, SOFTBALL, VOLLEYBALL, TRACK, AND YES, BASKETBALL...

What they say:
"The Shock Basketball Summer Team Camp at St. Gregory's University was a very productive experience for our program here at Snyder. I have been using Shock for several years now and the rewards are unbelievable. Taking the team to a place where they get a plethora of different fundamental workouts and at the same time in the afternoon the team plays games and gets to put into practice the disciplines learned earlier in the day, is an extraordinary camp. I feel Shock is the first training program set up that actually cares about the athletes’ development and not just their parents’ dollars. Shock coaches that have trained my athletes have shown up to many of my athletes and team events to judge, encourage, and support the improvement of the student athletes. I wished I lived closer so my two sons could attend everything Shock had to offer. Only a fool doesn't take advantage of all the resources out there that will make the difference in the overall scheme of performance."
Jeremy Tharp, Snyder HS Girls Basketball Coach & 2011 State Champs, 2011 Team Camp
